dual processors and lightworks

Looking to upgrade my pc. Considering dual processors. Is AC 9/ Lightworks able to utilize the additional processor. ie set renderings going on one processor while working independently on the other? Any help on this issue will be appreciated.

Yes, Lightworks does use multiple processors.
