Is it possible to add the hp 4500ps to the list of supported plotters in plotmaker?

Franky,

do you happen to know what that process might be?

"YLH",

Have you tried installing the driver from the CD you received with your HP 4500ps plotter? If so, after you install the driver you should import it into plotmaker.

Cheers mate,

Franky,

I did not know it was possible to import a driver into plotmaker... the driver has been installed on the computer, do you mind letting me know how i would go about importing it into plotmaker?

thanks

When You install your driver it automatically will be shown on your printer list in PlotMaker. You do nothing (no import is needed).

Rafal and YLH,

It is true that when you install your driver it will show up on your printer list in PlotMaker but usually when you print from plotmaker you loose a lot of quality and fill types/composites come through incorrect. That is why it is better to plot then to print.
My suggestion after reviewing my own PlotMaker would be to create PLTs (plot maker files that can be created in plotmaker) and plot them through "Plotflow".

Hope this helps,

Franky
