We’re rolling out a new BIMcloud SaaS release that brings both usability improvements and a new security capability for shared content.
What’s new and improved
✨ New: Protect public links with a password
You can now add an extra layer of security by protecting Public Links with a password before sharing them externally. For details on how this works and how to configure it, please refer to the BIMcloud Public Links Documentation.
🛠️ Fix: “Last 3 links” string now follows UI language
Previously, the “Last 3 links” label stayed in English even after switching to another language, unless the page was refreshed. This text now updates correctly when you change the language, without requiring a manual refresh.
🛠️ Fix: More consistent behavior in multiselect User Access
We have improved the multiselect behaviors so that the information shown is consistent when selecting one or multiple items, making access management more predictable.
This update is being rolled out over the coming days. If you do not see these changes yet, they will become available on your BIMcloud SaaS soon.
Thank you for being part of the BIMcloud Public Links Early Access program. All your input is highly appreciated – please continue to share your questions, suggestions, and bug reports in the dedicated forums so we can keep improving the feature together.
