Area Fills disappear at doorways (AC14)??

Hello

Just started working with AC14 (from AC9). One issue I have is that when I try to use the Fill Tool to place an drafting fill (say carpet or tile) on the floor plan, the areas at doorways seem to disappear. It gives the illusion that the tile/ carpet stops and does not flow thru the doorway

I have checked the door tool and threshold is turned off... I did not have this issue in AC9... what can I do to have the fill flow thru a doorway uninterrupted?

I'm not able to look at Archicad right now so I'm not sure but I think you have to go into the 2D representation in the parameters section of the door settings dialog and shut off "Use Fills". If that doesn't work then you have to look at the pens that make up the frame, etc. and make sure the background pen that's affecting you is set to transparent. I think that will do it.

You can turn this off under the General Setting/Material and Pens tab.
