How do others deal with 45 deg , 30 deg. etc. corner cabinets ?
are there library parts available for this or do you simply lap
one over the other ? SEO existing ? anyone got any tricks ?

are you talking about the counterTOP as opposed to the units themselves? you can add an overhang value to one of the edges of a standard cabinet. but do you really want to butt two cabinets together in the corners?

you could alternatively use the corner cabinet objects which are designed for this purpose. don't be put off by their preview pictures - you can achieve most of what you need by fiddling the A and B values of these . . .

Actually I was refering to an angle like the attached screenshot
where I have lapped cabinets to make an angled corner - note the counter top lines and kickspace . A corner cabinet object
that angles would produce a better job .

cabinets in Ac9 library are inteligent. put them together in any angle you want they will automatically intersects. do it ,view the 3d, open the doors in 3d ,you can see the intersection.

Thanks farzinassadi but :
The previous screenshot was with Archicad 9 Special Edition Library
the cabinets do not completely heal themselves and these - lap lines - show in all views , also kickspace laps . Angles are common to most kitchens we design and I was looking for a better corner construction
or at least to hear how people hide these lap lines .

I have found the cabinet builder from cadimage very helful in this regard, I model the cabinet with 3 slabs (1 for the toe kick, 1 for the cabinet, and the last is the counter top) then add drawers and doors using the cabinet maker tools. this keeps elevations very clean, and allows flexible shapes in terms of angled/box cabinetry.
