Also. I have copied the script from 9.0 and paste it into an 8.0 object rename it and save. This works most of the time. Can anyone help?
Note: I establish the A,B hotspots in code. in the past when I do this ArchiCad removes auto hotspots for me. Is there a way to disable it?

just an idea:
check, if there is a X in the checkbox field "additional 2d hotspots".
you can find it in the "details" dialog.
maybe in former versions it is unchecked when beginning with a new object, maybe in the 9 it is checked by standard?
hope it will help, best regards, gerd

gerd,
That was the fix I was looking for "uncheck hotspots on bounding box"
Thank you very much. I guess ArchiCad took it upon them selves to change the default setting.
Thanks again for the help
