Can't Select Object in 2d

For some reason, I can't select an object in 2d, only in 3d.

I'm using the find and select dialog box.

As you see, it's finding and selecting 1 object, even though there is 2.

If I go into 3d I'm able to click on it and select it. In 2d, I'm unable to even click on it.

Anything I can try here?;)

Nobody has any clue?;) I don't understand it. I just have problem with this particular object and I just can't select it. Is there some magic I can use here?

It is really hard for us to say without having the object to check it out.

What happens if you just select all objects? - either by find and select or just activate the object tool and press CTRL+A.
Get rid of the marquee just in case there are some weird hotspot positions.

Does it select now?
If so you can now see the hotspots that you can select it by in the future.

Yes, if I use a big selection box, then I get it selected.

It seems it has a center of gravity very far from the object itself. This is a morph. Can I somehow move this "handle" so that it's closer to the actual object?;)
