Custom Batten Object

There's a great batten tool I'd like to use for simulating board and batten that someone made available: http://www.onland.info/archives/2008/05/battens_jm11.php
(object attached)

In Archicad 18 it gives error when it runs. Is this an object issue? Can someone here weigh in on the error and help troubleshoot perhaps, I'm at a loss with the programmed objects.

Running "check script" in the object edit menu:

'Uninitialized variable at line 18 in the 3D script of the file BattensJM11.gsm'

Ok i was curious and have tried the object.

Open gdl code, go to master script, at the end of the code add the line

hsid=1325

save object.

I haven't found anything else wrong with it.

Excellent, thanks!

edit:
I get one other error in another file:

Not enough edges in generatrix.
at line 48 in the 3D script of file Battens JM11.gsm.

Also- just curious I understand you defined hsid but why 1325?

1325 is a mystic number coming from the vikings' legend.......ok it is a casual number only to initialize the variable.

I don't have encountered the other error, Checked the 3d script but it says ok.

Didn't find the answer?
