Custom Parametric Door

Hi,

We have an issue with the ArchiCAD door object basically not giving us the option that we need with the door leaf. I've attached an image of what is happening. As you can see, the direction of the surfaces change between the side and top/bottom. Obviously this doesn't look very good. Unless there is a fix for that, we would like to create our own custom door which is parametric to be able to set the door leaf as shown. Is this achievable? and if so, where do I start?

Thanks!

When I use the No Grid option to create this leaf and then select the door, the way the leaf is created with different parts may be the reason for the texture changing direction. I would try creating a Custom Door Leaf out of one Slab with a hole for the glass panel and see if that corrects the problem.

In that case I would need to be able to set the dimensions of the hole in the door leaf after the object is created. It would need to be parametric.

If you are using industry standard door sizes but you want a constant glass size then it may be quicker just to create the 3 (?) variants as custom leafs. Create one size, save, stretch frame, save, stretch frame, save. Job done?

Potentially this is the choice to go with. It makes the most sense. I feel like creating doors are fairly complicated to create and would take a lot of time. Thanks for the suggestion!
