Hello,
I am an archicad user from greece and would llike to make a custom label for windows. I have tried but can't seem to quite get it.
What I am trying to do is make a frame which will have the window id, the width on the left and on the right the sill level from the concrete slab of the relevant concrete floor slab and header. This is how we are supposed to do them in greece. I can do it with autotext but i need to click the window to obtain each info and then move it to the table. Is there an easier way to do it using labels? I am using archicad 26. (I want to do the same for doors but using a cicle. They will be measured from the top of the flooring). Thank you.
Operating system used: Windows

Hi @KorniliaP
I'm sure there's a more elegant way using GDL code, but here's a quick and easy method:

Thank you for replying.. I did the same but my label has no text when I add that to the window. Any thoughts why?
EDIT: NEVER MIND I WAS USING THE LABEL TOOL WITH AUTOTEXT AND NOT THE TEXT TOOL!

Nice! Thanks, but unfortuntely it prints like this.
I also need the position of the info exactly as shown in the original post.

Hi @KorniliaP
Try creating the label object in the view at the scale you need. I did it in a view with a scale of 1:50 so that the label object would appear exactly as intended.
As I mentioned, this is a quick and easy method, but it has its limitations.
I’m sure someone with a good knowledge of GDL could create a proper object.

work fine for me. I tested it in AC29. What AC version are you using?

I was mistakenly using label tool instead of simple text.. Inception! Label within a label. lol

Is there a way to edit the label should i need to change the parameters? Or I simply create the new and overide the previous one?
