I always model my custom openings on storey 0 (or I guess it is story 1 in the USA version), with the centre of the opening sill at the project origin (x = 0, y = 0, z = 0).
Everything above z = 0 will be inside the wall behind the opening reveal depth.
Everything at z = 0 will be at the opening reveal depth.
Everything below z = 0 will be outside the wall in front of the opening reveal depth.
If you open the script you might see an ADD command right at the beginning that you can probably edit or comment out so the door is not set back.
I am not 100% sure without setting one up myself.
