Deciduous tree in sections/elevations/3D documents?

Hi guys,

I was wondering about a way to link vectorial drawings to the deciduous trees in sections and elevations as well. Since the floor plan can handle assigned 2D views to these objects, I was wondering if I could manage to show them in a section too, but I failed. Maybe this is due to my user error,but is there a way to achieve this?

3D document support would be another nice implementation as well.
