Double Acting Door Linetype

Anybody know how to change the linetype of the secondary door in the D1 Double Acting 10 (or D2 Double Acting 10 for that matter). It defaults to linetype #4 which is a dashed line but not the dashed line I want it to be. I don't see anywhere to change this. I seem to recall you could in previuos versions. If I try to change the linetype by deselecting use object linetypes, it changes both the primary and secondary door and swing. Would also like to change the angle of the swing on the secondary door independently of the primary.

Hi Kevin,
Let's try some GDL. Insert the double acting door. Then with it selected, go to the File menu, then LIBRARIES AND OBJECTS, then OPEN OBJECT. When it opens, click on the PARAMETERS tab. Then scroll down until you find "Ghost Opening Line Type" in the NAME column. Click on the number just to the right of the Name, (mine shows a 4) and select the linetype that you want it to have. Now go to the FILE menu and SAVE. Try reinserting the door to see if it worked.
I hope that it works, I'm just learning GDL, so no promises.

Unfortunately its not the ghost opening, the ghost opening is another "set" of doors (lines on plan) inside the others. I did open the object and just couldn't find where this secondary door is described.

The ghost opening actually works the way (I believe) the secondary door should in that you can set the angle and the linetype in the parameters already in the door settings. Unfortunately turing it on for the double acting door gives you four doors in plan. I have even tried the ghost door in a "regular" door but it won't accept negative values for the angle which is what's needed as positive values place it on the same side as the primary door.

This might be more trouble than it's worth, but could you redefine the linetype it is defaulting to and make it look like the dashed line you like. You would have to probably make a new linetype that looked like the old if you are using it for other things. Sorry I couldn't help.
