GDL people needed

I am looking for 3D .gdl objects of people.

You can go to www.archibase.net. Download the Archibase Toolbar. Click on 3D Models Icon in the Toolbar. Choose People and then Filter. Then you have a lot of 3D Models of People to choose from. Most are 3ds, some are also gsm (that is GDL). Click on the picture to download. When downloaded, place the gsm file in a Folder you make for 3D Models. Now you open ArchiCAD and load the 3D Model in to your Library to use it in ArchiCAD.

You don't need to register or download any toolbars from this version of the archibase website -

Be aware that most (if not all) of the people models have excessive numbers of polygons and will slow ArchiCAD down a lot. Use them sparingly!

You are, of course, aware of the Archicad Library with some 3D figures.

Dwight: yes i saw the people 3d present at the default archicad library, but i wanted some other people too, those ones are only few.

If you need people for entourage in a perspective view I would suggest using bitmap images on billboard rather than the showroom dummies...

hm, i haven`t understood you quite mate, what is "bitmap images"? Like 2d images? Hand what do you mean by "billboard". I know the meaning of billboard, but i need 3d people, i haven`t understood you.

No toolbar needs to be installed from the archibaseplanet site! You just need to click on the image of the model to download.
