I need some help when importing 3ds objects, which sometimes are flipped when I import them. More specifically the floor plan view and elevation view are switched.
This image shows my problem. This is a floor plan view, but the lamp is shown in elevation. (Sofa is for reference)
I don't think this is an Archicad problem, it probably has to do with older 3ds files. Still, I would like to know if there is any way to fix this. Also I can't roate the object in 3d view.

There should be a command for 3DS import options as well as the command to actually import.
I don't have Archicad running at the moment so can't show you.
But in the options you can swap the X, Y & Z axis around - looks like you need to swap Y & Z.
Then import.
Barry.
