Metal Deck Thickness

The Profiled Sheet 18 object in the library is a metal deck that has a thickness setting that does not work. When you set the thickness, the profile looks the same without any thickness. How can I get it to have a thickness? Thanks.

In the Settings dialog box, Profile Settings > Custom Settings > Appearance > 3D Representation > 3D Detail Level: set to Detailed.

Thank you so much. I worked.

David,

One more question: The metal deck has a slope that can be set, but I have a balcony that is framed with beam sloping to provide positive drainage (the beams have to slope). The metal deck that is supported by the beams are perpendicular to the sloping beams. There is no functionality for deck cross-slope. Is changing the decks to morphs and sloping them the best way to achieve the cross-slope or is there a better way? Thanks.

Depending on the exact conditions, there are a few options:
1. Convert to Morph (as you said)
2. Replicate the deck profile in the Profile Manager and use it with the Beam tool with assigned slope (copy the profile from the Section window and paste into the Profile Manager), all end cuts will be vertical
3. Add parameter for cross slope to the Object (requires GDL scripting)
