Need some boulders for my project!!

Hello,

Does AC 17 library have any boulders in it?
I looked for quite a bit tonight and couldn't find any.
I have some boulders that I used on an older project years ago, but I don't trust them.
I know that sounds strange, but I actually saw them move around (shift position) after doing some operation maybe zooming in or changing some layers, can't remember exactly.
If AC17 doesn't have boulders does anyone know of any that I can get
that are reliable library parts?

What about using the Morph tool.
Make some cubes and union them together so they become one morph.
Then curve and smooth the edges.
This took less than a minute but I am sure you can do better.

Barry,

Wow, that's impressive!
Just upgraded from 15 to 17 a couple of weeks ago and took a look at
the morph tool dialog box yesterday. Not a very intuitive environment here I thought to myself. Guess I better go back and see if I can figure it out. I'm in a crunch to get a working drawing submittal to a HOA which dosen't allow much time for the learning curve.
Was hoping that there would be an improved boulder in the library that I could place and manipulate in the 3d window.

Regards,
Jon

whatever jhappened to the random rock object. Racking my brain to remember what it was called, who made it, and where I found it.

Does anyone recall?

Aaron,
I believe you are thinking of an object called Rots2
I used them on a job I did in 2008 and the problem with those rocks/bolders was that they would shift around on there own.
I would spend a bunch of time orienting, placing and sizing those rocks
and while I was working on something else, out of the corner of my eye
would see them rearange themselves so that all the time I put into getting
them just right... I never trusted those boulders again.

And here's Roberto Corona's boulder converted to morph-softened with granite applied.
Thanks Roberto and Andro.
