Parameters Listing?

Anyone knows a reason why we have ability to feed our objects with as much parameters we want (which is a great thing), but we can not list them out like we do with components?

I don't understand your question: there are a variaty of ways to list all parameters of an object, although not a simple "print all params".

Could you clarify: what exactly do you want to do?

Thanks,

If you take a look at the attachment a sent in previous post, you'll se I highlighted parameters I would like to list (and hopefully work with them in Interactive Scheduler). I know we can easily list global parameters for any element but I don't know if we can do the same with user defined parameters?

Let me give you an example. Take a simple chair library part. You can use parameter named "seat hight" but you cannot list it (nor its value) as it is not global parameter. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I want object inventory with detailed information, segregated by seat hight, or seat material or by thickness of the seat etc.

Cheers

This has been discussed several times: the "Additional Parameters" button (see screenshot) gives access to ALL object parameters for listing in a schedule.

Also, you have access to all of the parameters in the Criterion tab so that you can even filter your schedule based on the values of any parameter. 😉

Hope that helps,
Karl

I have the same problem and I found the additional parameters button. But, I can't get my custom zone stamp to show up in the list. Through some trial and error I got other custom and downloaded objects to show up in that dialog box but not the zone identifier. I set parameters for the different room finishes through that object and I want to use it to create an interactive finish schedule.

Is there a way to get the zone identifier parameters for use in the interactive scheduler?

Thanks,
