daninet, unfortunately, US standards require a slope in 12. Also, the label needs to work in elevation.
RandyC, yours looks like it should work, but I could not get an arrow to appear in the plan view, just text.

Unless you have a secret way to turn on the arrow for the plan view, I can only get the text to show, regardless of the arrow settings. I can get arrows for just about every other label. Just not yours.

Anyway, this seems to work okay now, but the plan view setting shows arrow size parameters which do not seem to have any effect.

and just the arrow that comes with labels.
So ignore the arrow references in the parameter - or edit them out of the gdl script
I a not very experience at GDL but I do think this is a handy attempt and could be improved by someone with talent.
