in archicad 7.0 it was very simple
just "save as" window or door (after you modelate them first)
in 8.1 i have no ideea how to do that

From the File menu, GDL, Save 3D Model As ... you'll see the dialog shown below. Select either the middle button (window) or right button (door) before saving. This sets the (basic) subtype and nothing else is required if the opening is rectangular and you don't want parametric materials. Voila.
