Section Marker Opaque Fill

Has anyone modified a simple section marker to have the inside portion of the marker (i.e. the portion inside the circle where the the text is located) opaque? Obviously there is a setting to change the fill type on the outside of the marker, but am trying to get the marker to be displayed above the drawing to make it more visible. Thanks for the assistance.

Image below is AC14 "Built-in marker" with background fill turned ON. Not sure what you mean by fill type outside the marker

Thanks for the note. The "opaquness" only applies to the built in marker. The other markers (i.e. the Section Marker and the Section Part Marker) that come with AC do not have that same option. When selecting the background fill to be on, it fills in the part of the marker (typically a triangle) that is outside the marker (typically a cirlcle).

Also, I noticed that my posting was incorrectly placed in the Archicad+ area. Apologies, don't know how (or if I can) relocate it to a more correct topic location.

Moved to Library Parts / GDL, since I think you're looking for how to modify those markers to have an opaque fill? (General issues related to placing markers / working with Sections would have been Working in ArchiCAD.)

As usual, Karl to the rescue! Thanks for the move.

Has anyone found a workaround for this issue?
Can we officially file it as a bug?

I've found that the "background fill" for the section and elevation markers (both default and NCS) doesn't work. And the "Simple Section Marker" behaves contrary to logic.

Have you tried the built-in section marker?

Create a circular, solid fill. Assign it a white pen and place it over the section marker.
Use "display order" to get it "below" the marker and "above" what you want to cover.

Not a solution.... but you asked for a workaround.

Perhaps the attached section markers (archicad 12 version) will work for folks. These are modifications of Graphisoft's markers. The "Marker Link Parameters" macro should be loaded only if it does not show up in your library already. This is a default macro from AC 12.
