Shift selection problem

I cannot select multiple items with holding down the shift key.

I have the same problem with Caps Lock in the On or Off mode...

Also, my Pick Up Parameters and my Inject Parameters shortcut keys seem to have changed.

Thanks for your help as I am trying to get a project out the door.....!!!

Can you tell us what AC version and OS you are using. It might help someone give the right answers. (For example, I don't think Caps Lock has had an effect since AC8). Place info in a signature in your profile.

I am using AC 11 with OX X Leopard.

You sure you don't have snap on. Hit S and try again.

These are hardwired functions of the program and shouldn't change.

Thanks for the suggestions but the caps lock key does not affect this either.

I was also able to access the eye dropper with just the option key and now that's gone too!!!

I just uninstalled and reinstalled AC and that did not solve the problem!!!

Any more suggestions? Is this a Mac problem?

It does not seem to be a hardware problem because the shift selection function works fine in other applications.

Any other suggestions by anyone would be very much appreciated as I am at a dead-end with this...
