Switch feedback

Not applicable
Made my own window/curtain wall object out of frustration with what was available (and their limitations).
It stretches and adds panels as you go. All transoms and mullions are hotspot editable. Transoms are individually editable and each panel can be assigned a different material and thickness. Oh yeah, I added the ability to rake the head too (next, the sill). It's still breakable and needs more time on limit controls - but works great for me. Quite happy with it.('8)')

So to the question: I have a rotary switch in the centre of each panel that determines what material is assigned to the panel. It works but it does not preview the material you are about to select in the visible parameter when moving the hotspot, only the previous one. So you have to select it twice to make sure you have got the right material (unless they are visually distinct).
I have tried mucking about with 'GLOB_MODPAR_NAME' to trigger the routine that determines the material from the switch angle but to no avail.(':?')

Any hints appreciated!
