creating special windows

it might have been asked already but here we go.

I want to create a special window (for 3d) with a pointed top and a special masonry arch above it, do i create a frame in GDL, or can i copy say a rounded top window and edit that?
Mind you i do not know anything about gdl. :0

thanks,
mac

If you don't know GDL, and this is a one-off (or just a few-off), just model the window with slabs:

You can bring the image in with the Figure Tool and scale it to trace over (no snapping, of course) if you don't have precise dimensions...

Mac,
I would suggest you model the complete window in the plan
using Archicad tools and then save as a window object.
A description of how to do this is at ArchicadWiki.
Please go to this link.
