library parts missing on upgarde to archicad 16

I have used the trial of Archicad 16 but when i open some older version 15 files, a number of library parts were missing.
Is there a way of getting them back.......?
Any guidance on upgrading to Archicad 16 would be helpful.

You should add the ArchiCAD 15 Migration Library when opening AC 15 files in AC 16. The library can be found in ArchiCAD 16 > ArchiCAD Migration Libraries folder.

sorry, i should have said archicad 15 is on a pc and the trial of archicad 16 is on a mac.
The file opens on the mac but doors, windows and objects are missing.....
does this make any difference to your recommendations.....??

Pln. files and library parts are cross platform, so in this instance the operating system does not matter.
