msa steel parts in AC9 lib revert to splotches

Every time we open a file with steel beams (TS and W's) in them, they look like those delightful splotches we get when library parts are missing. The libraries are loaded. We have to in essence relink them; select them and then find them in the library. They are originally from the MSA library which I heard is being fixed. Anyone know how to stop this behavior?

pain in the you know what and renderings looming.
thanks

erika, we have had a similar problem last week with one of the msa parts. we get a red message anywhere the msa bolthead part is,'use detail level 2'. problem is that setting cannot be set to that level. we found an older part, i believe and problem went away.

TIM,
the words showing up is a known. I've seen the words in a few places where I used nails. In those instances I exploded the parts and erased the words as it was a quick fix for otherwise done details.

The steel beams problem I'venow seen on 3 machines.

I understand graphisoft hired someone to fix the msa library including those parts. Any chance they will be releasing the fixes soon?
