"A serious error occured during download"

When I search for a library part and download and embed it, I very often get the
"A serious error occured during download" error.

Am I doing something wrong? What's the deal with this error?

I recently experience this error a lot... is it back or is this update not part of AC 20?
What update do you have?
Current build is 5025 but there has just been a new one released (6005) as a preview for some nationalities.

Dear All,

First and foremost, thank you all for your active participation in ARCHICAD-Talk.

After finding out about the issue you are experiencing, we asked the responsible people to investigate this. They got back to us and it turned out that some specific objects in BIMcomponents are corrupted. This was in the upload phase of these objects onto the site.

Our WebClient team have started a clean-up project to attend to those broken objects. They will be incrementally replacing the broken objects with valid ones. So I would like to ask from all of you a little bit of patience while this is undergoing.

Finally, please note that we can only replace objects we created and provided on the site. We are unable to attend objects which were created by others (3rd party members). Only they can replace those objects themselves since we have no say, rights, or access to the objects themselves. (we can't download them and upload them again since they were corrupt at the upload process)

I'm very sorry about the inconvenience caused by this.

Nonetheless, I hope the information proves to be helpful to you in some shape or form.

Kind regards,
Ghaleb
