resizing an embedded object

Hello.
I downloaded and embedded an object. I am trying to resize it, but it wouldn't work. It shows the diminished dimensions in the info box, but in plan the object is the same.
What can I do?

Thank you a lot for the explanations, but it doesn't work. It doesn't give me any error, just the sound of one.

Make sure that you have Suspend Groups selected.

You can resize Morphs also by having the whole Morph selected and using the Box Stretch command of the Pet Palette.

Thank you all for the answers. Resizing the object-morph finally worked after I restarted my computer.
