wall extending over two stories

Anonymous
Not applicable
I have a wall extending over two stories. I need to place doors on the lower story and have them not show on the upper storey! I can’t figure if this could be done.
This is a very basic question but I’ve never really needed to do it before and always assumed that it works.
I have the lower wall set to show on all relevant stories and the doors set as symbolic cut.

I think the doors should be set to projected, and coordinate your plan view's cutting plane height to cut through the doors you want to show.

Symbolic will show no matter where the door / window is in relation to the cutting plane.

You should change the Wall to Floor Plan Display > Cut Only, and change the Floor Plan Cut Plane Settings associated with each View. If you change the Door from Symbolic, the door will become a 3D cut of its model, not the 2D symbol you probably want.
