window markers-metric

Sorry if this is a dumb question. I am doing a project where I need to work in metric standards for the UK. I was able to change the marker for the doors by going to "dimension marker, working units" and changing to centimeters but the windows don't have a similar entry in the 'dimension marker" heading. How do I convert the marker to centimeters from feet and inches?
