AC 13 Component Not Working error

This morning one my student encountered a strange problem while working.
His laptop got switched off due to low battery.

I am attaching the screen shots he gave me....

The AC 13 stopped working after system restart.
One of my student encountered the error this morning while he was working for his final submissions.

How can we help the guy in trouble ?
