Is it possible to have both EDU and Commercial Version on the same PC?

Yes. You should install it to different folders to keep them organized.

Or you can have the Commercial installed only since if you open an EDU file it will switch to EDU for that particular file.

Apparently it can be done with just the one program installation as well.
