2D ArchiStair ?

Stress Co_

I like using ArchiStair,... but I have a problem getting things to present in 2D as I'd like. The issue is how to make the fill above the "stair break" transparent so as to see the walls below. Note: I want to see the dashed treads above the "stair break".

I've tried changing the fill and pen with no luck. Anyone have this dialed in?

Thanks
Marc

Fabrizio:

Thanks for your reply and... for making this add-on available.

As long as I have your ear... and maybe this has already been addressed... a down arrow when viewing a stair from the upper floor would be great.

Grazie

I just read one of your old posts concerning this issue.... never mind. ......BUT, can we rotate the UP DOWN text orientation?

I too would like to say we need to be able to rotate the up/down text, reading upside down isn't what I want to make people do. Also I would like to be able to abbreviate DOWN as DN.

I have upgraded to v1.07, but since then I have been getting the follow error message whenever a elevation or 3D window is processed:
"CAN'T FIND MACRO: AStair_swiss,
called at line 144 of Archistair.gsm"

The model or section/elevation still looks right, and there is no message in 2D, anybody else having this issue?

Scott:

You can abbreviate by: selecting the stair and opening "stair selection settings" ....Click the Hammer/Wrench icon to bring up the attached menu. I've been leaving the up/down text blank in order to get the Archistair arrows.... and then add my own text oriented in the correct direction.

thanks for the tip, hopefully archistair will allow us to rotate the text as necessary in future releases. Also I figured out why I was getting as error message, AC was loading the 1.07 plug in but still using the 1.01 library
