3D dwg to mesh...I've forgotten...

Importing a 3D dwg terrain model into a AC mesh object... I have forgotten how to do it... I only get a semi-useless 3D GDL object. I want to use gravity for placing objects and heights over the terrain but then I need a mesh, not a GDL-object...
How2?

I use Archi Terra add-on (www.cigraph.com) to convert the file to ac mesh .

Terra use txt or dxf file import option. So save your 3D dwg to dxf in auto-cad and try archi terra add on. there is guide pdf file in cigraph web site .

Without add-on please!

I don't know any solution. Maybe other users reply If they have.

You may use the add-on in demo mode (free)

Maybe it's my lousy memory. It might have been 3ds files I used to convert...not 3D-dwg....
Thanks anyways.
