3d window maximum size using OPEN GL
I am trying to save a tif copy of my 3d window in open gl, shaded mode by doing 'save as' when in the 3d screen. I want to save it as large as possible to open in photoshop and then reducing resolution to 'tighten' and smooth the image. This often is a clearer method of visual communication than actual renderings and the drawing is quite readable due to contours/hatching etc.
I find that I can achieve only a maximum 2000 pixels wide before the resulting 3d image distorts its proportions and has freaked out errors in the model. Any known ways to get round this. Obviously creating a 2-5000 pixel wide 3d image means the image is off your screen but is still created in the computer so seems to be ok.
Any takers!..

I seem to remember some wishes about 3D window full screen?
