I have not found any document about limitation (or maximum amount) of AC11 layer ?
Is there any limitation about Layer in AC11 ?

If you run into a limit, then you have too many layers.

Seriously, though, how many layers do you envision that this is a concern?

I don't have a definitive answer, but the Archicad API may provide a clue. Indexes for attributes (layers, materials, etc) are 16 bit signed integers, so in theory this could allow for 32,767 layers.

30,000 layers!!!!


I think when your project reaches 10,000 layers, you need to seriously step back, take a deep breath and.............. consider investing in a Management consulting firm to deal with and organize your layers instead.
