The current WIBU driver can't handle a native AC 10 and a rosetta AC 9 simultaneously. WIBU promised to fix this - hopefully it won't take more than a few weeks.
Any idea when this will be available?
Been awfully quiet for several weeks now...

After connecting my old cinema display the MacBook Pro turned much slower and the mouse is jumpy as with a remote desktop.
running a second display always involves halving the graphics card RAM: a half to drive each display (unless you've invested in the second graphics card option with the new xeon machines! )

if you were doing any kind of graphics card intensive processing with the two displays attached, of course you are going to see a screen-rendering performance drop. it really, really shouldn't affect the mouse movement though . . .

Is this a common problem? I was planning to purchase a 1900x1200 Eizo screen to use with a 15" MBP at work (I think the 17" is a bit big to carry back and forth every day). Is this a bad decision?

I thought that strange as well.

Also, I used a 23" Cinema Display attached to my G4 PowerBook for a while and was quite happy with it.

Adalbert,

Perhaps there is something else going on?

Today WIBU released the 5.20 driver, which enables you to run AC 9 in Rosetta and AC 10 native simultaneously.

You can download the driver here:
