Archicad 17 - Stair Problem

There are two problem for using stairs.

1. Improper 2D display.
For the four-tread stairs, one line is missing. (See pic. 1)

2.Unable to change the balustrade type.
The balustrade is only a panel, and unable to change. (See pic. 2)

It seems that the situation happened for the project filed edited by different version of Archicad 17.

Instead of using the stair objects found in the ArchiCAD Library, try to switch to the Stair Tool and use Create Stair command and do it in StairMaker. It will hopefully offer you more options and also more choices for balustrade and railing.
