Archicad Template

I recently started working somewhere that uses their own Archicad template. I got given the template and imported it, but when I try and draw or model in the template it won’t allow me to, what can I do to fix this?

Won't allow? Do you have a screenshot or further explanation about how this denial looks like?

You don't need to import a template, you start a new project based on a template.
