is there a way that you can undo or reset boolean operations that have been done several steps before.

Yes.

For discussion, lets say that a Wall is your Target and a Roof is your Operator. Select the Wall(s), then at the bottom of the SEO "Edit Targets and Operators" Dialog box Click the "......All Operators" Button. Or select the Roof, then at the bottom of the SEO "Edit Targets and Operators" Dialog box Click the "......All Targets" Button.
