COmplex roof shape

I am a student and need to complete my current drawings on archicad but the roofs and the walls are unusual. The roofs are similiar to "shade sails" in sofar that they vary in height off the ground in different corners, and the walls are then of varying heights as well.

I have tried modelling the roof with the mesh tool as it is the only one I can find where I can elevate the corners to seperate heights, but I can't get the required thickness to be consistent throughout as it would be of a normal building (due to the fact that it is amesh tool, not a roofing tonol).

Also I can't get the wall heights to match to the roof height at each corner. I have tried so many things including solid element operation by having the walls over the roof and then using it effectively as a "trim to roof" tool but the box around the mesh is substantially deeper than its visual appearance, and so the walls are reduced down to the lowest point on the mesh.- e the mesh "frame".

I have attached a pdf of the 3D to give some idea of what I'm talking about

Gauci, These roofs are very doable with the roof tool. I would not attempt it with a mesh. The key is skewing the spring-line and/or moving the roof corners and edges up and down in the 3D window via the pet palette. Easy to do, difficult to explain (at least for me).

SEOs are the way to maintain the raked wall heights. Sometimes you need to use SEO-only roofs that are placed on non visible layers. Others will doubtless have more to add to this skeleton of an idea but do not be discouraged: many things in AC are truly difficult but this problem is solvable and even FUN! Good luck.

Use the new Shell tool! A Ruled shell would easily form the shape you are after using two straight profiles.
