Can you mirror a line type?

Hi,
I'm attempting to do something which seems incredibly simple but can't seem to get any results.

I'm using a shingle line type, which works fine on one side of the roof, but when I mirror it, the line type symbol stays the same and does not mirror, so the line appears incorrect. I've tried all sorts of different methods for doing this, but is the only way to do it is to create another line type which matches but is going the other direction? Surely there is another way, right?

Any help will be appreciated!

If I draw using the closed spline in a clockwise direction the cloud is always pointing in the outwards direction. If in a counterclockwise direction it will invert. Does this not work for you?

Cheers,
It's just the opposite for me (I reckon it's how my line type was created).

I know this, yet never remember... 9 times out of 10, I guess wrong. Like Tom says... it'd be nice to reverse a line's direction (and splines & polylines).
