Controlling location of fills in sections, is it possible?

I have created a fill pattern that represeents a 4" x 4" tile with 1/8" grout.

I use the wall tool to create a 1/4" thick wall that will represent the thickness of a wall full of 4x4 tile, like a shower wall. I assign my custom fill to this wall so that the fill pattern I created will show up in section.

The fill pattern for this tile is also assigned to the material I choose for this wall.

When I create a section to show this wall, it shows my fill, but the fill is in the wrong location.

Example, I want to start with one full tile at the bottom of my wall and center the tiles from left to right with one full tile being in the center of the width of my tile wall.

The fill pattern never shows up in section where I want it to and I know of no way to control its appearance in section.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Assuming that the material applied to this wall uses your fill as it's 3D Hatching, you'll need to view this wall in 3D and use the Design > Align Texture > Set Origin command. Then it all depends on how you created the fill, or more accurately, where it's origin is. It will need to be exactly at the right place (somehwere near the corner of the grout), to avoid modeling another element to set your origin to.

Don't use too tight an angle to look at the wall, or this command will struggle.

Link,
I thought the same thing as well, but when I tested it , it does not "align" the origin of the texture in section like Jeff is trying to do.

...any other ideas?

It should work. It does here. Obviously you have to have the S/E set to show the 3D Vectorial Hatching.

You may also need to Rebuild from Model. Right Click or Ctrl+Shift+R.
