Creating a tapered river bed

For a current project I would like to create the small river bed which runs on the side of the plot. I've created a morph which is used as a SEO to cut out the river bed. I would like the banks of the river bed to be slanted, not perpendicular to the terrain. I've tried using "offset all edges" on the morph to scale the bottom off the river bed, but I can only affect the edges of the side of the river bed and not the bodem or top plane.

I must be doing something wrong here! Can anyone help out?

Other than that it's hiking, camping, climbing.

Johan:

I was able to edit the bottom planes using Offset Edge by using the Parallel Projection Settings > Monometric Bottom Projection Type to view the Morph in the 3D Window. I think an easier method is to use a Slab to create the shape of the river, then change the Slab's Edge Angle. The Slab could then be converted to Morph for further editing if needed.
