Displace Reference

Hi all,

I appear to be unable to use the "Temporarily Displace Reference" option. When I attempt to use it, as soon as I select the position to move the trace to, it slides back to it's original location...

Yes that is normal.
It is 'temporary' so you can drag it away, see what is behind and then when you let go it returns to its original position.
You want the option at the top of the dialogue to 'Drag Reference'.
