One thing to check: go to Fill Types, select the fill you are using, and see if it is set to Scale with Plan (Model Size) or Scale Independent (Paper Size).

If it's a default put-pf the box fill, instead save a copy so as not to mess up any placed instances of the existing fill. Edit the copy as instructed.
