How do i save a Detail Title?
I have set up a detail title with autotext which should be good to go when
i fugure out how to save it so i can load it from the drawing selection settings dialog box
it only searches for "Drawing Title" to load
and there is no option to save as "drawing detail"

any urgent help would be kindly appreciated.

I have searched the net and the forum and come up with nothing

You can save it as a favorite,
Or is this a detail you have scripted?

currently it is a line a circle and auto text sitting in archicad with nowhere to go
wondering how i can save it as a detail title to attach to my layout views in plotmaker

hmm nearly 60 views and noone knows how to create custom Titles for plotmaker layouts?

Select your elements
File>Libraries & Objects>Save as title type

... and you probably won't be happy with the results.

Try amending an existing title type.

I tried this earlier and when i click on Save Title type
it doesnt do anything
you would expect it to come up with a dialogue box asking where you want to save it.... but, nothing..

(is that what you meant with not being happy with the results)

No that was not what I meant.
Sounds like you might need to reinstall archicad if you are not getting dialogue box asking where to save it.

Unless you forgot to select your title block elements first?
