[Help] Tool pop-up doesn't pop-up

Hi. Sorry for my strange English..

If I click on a wall, slab or similar the pop-up, well pops-up, I can choose a tool and my life i great. But then the problems starts, If i click on the wall or slab again to choose another tool the pop-up don't pop-up. To fix this I must draw a line and then move the line to get the pop-up working again.

Is this a bug or a strange feature? Is there any way I can fix it?

Archicad 13.0.0. Build 3259, Student version.

I assume you are referring to the Pet Palette that appears when editing elements. Are you losing track of the palette after you are done with the edit or during?

If it is after then I don't know what the problem could be nor why drawing a line would fix it. If it is during then you presumably haven't noticed that the palette moves after it's initial appearance.

Once you have started the edit the Pet Palette typically moves to a predetermined location until you have finished. (This setting can be changed in the Work Environment to make it follow the cursor - thus becoming what was once known as the "Pest Palette".)

I am assuming that what you refer to as drawing a line is some action that takes you out of the edit mode so that when you try again the palette pops up in it's initial location.

"I assume you are referring to the Pet Palette that appears when editing elements. Are you losing track of the palette after you are done with the edit or during? " - The Pet Palette disappear after I'm done editing.

If i sett palette to "Follow cursor" it re-aperers, just as it's supposed to do with "Jump to preferred position" and as it did in v.12

"I am assuming that what you refer to as drawing a line is some action that takes you out of the edit mode so that when you try again the palette pops up in it's initial location." - This is correct.

Now I will just use the "Pest Palette":)

Thank you very much for the informative and quick reply.

If it is disappearing altogether perhaps it's default location is off screen. Switching your Work Environment should fix this.
