Thx @Babalo , you can choose opening dimensions, polygonal shape and orientation then hover over your the slab then click to place it then you can modify if it’s infinite or limited then the floor plan symbol, don’t worry it’s easy and you don’t have to use SEO cuz it’s subtracting automatically.

You can make void by opening tool then you can control it’s graphical appearance.

Thanks for the effort to solve my problem, but the question refers to how to control this graphical appearance, not how to make the void.

Thanks for your answer Mahmoud! But how can one use irregular shape for the Opening Tool? It seems to allow regular shapes. I had to use subtract from polygon to cut my opening in the floor, and I have no control to change the display of the opening done that way, to grey or dark grey or any colour. With the Opening Tool that is possible but it only does regular shapes.
