Hey guys!

i've just started working with archicad because of the uni and i'm no experienced at all with cad programs. I hope you can help me out!

So, i want to create this pillar (http://imgur.com/a/ydvId) in 3D so i can use it on my archicad project. I've searched quite a lot online for some answers i could work with, but until now no sucess haha

Thank you all in advance!

I would make a complex profile wall with this "V" shape.
The length of the wall when you place it will become the width of the pillar.

If you want to you could then convert this into a morph for further editing - for example you want to taper the width from top to bottom r you want to curve some of the edges.

It could also be done as a slab in the "V" shape. then convert that to a morph, rotate it to stand it up and edit further if necessary.

I have attached a screen shot of you pillar so others don't need to copy and paste the link you provided.
